The Scientific Approach Towards Manifesting

Did you know it’s possible to increase your IQ and mind function? Have you heard about manifesting, but haven’t really learned a true technique to do so? The Silva Method is a self-help program developed by Jose Silva in the 1960s designed to do just that. It is a scientifically researched, mind training program that can improve the quality of your life by enhancing your mental capabilities. These techniques harness the power of your own mind to create positive changes in your life. The Silva Method has been used by millions of people worldwide and has been taught in over 110 countries.
The Silva Method starts by teaching that the brain operates at different frequencies. These are the electrical impulses in our brain, each associated with a different state of consciousness. These frequencies include beta (normal waking consciousness), alpha (relaxed consciousness), theta (meditative state), and delta (deep sleep).
Beta waves are the high-frequency waves that dominate our normal waking state of consciousness when attention is directed towards cognitive tasks and the outside world. When you're solving a math problem or having a conversation at work, you're in Beta.
Next, we have Alpha waves. These are slower and larger. They're associated with a state of relaxation, creativity, and daydreaming. When you're chilling out, meditating, or letting your imagination run wild, you're likely in an Alpha state. Also, you know that time when you’re just waking up or falling asleep..but you’re neither fully awake or fully asleep? That’s Alpha. It's also the gateway to your subconscious mind.
Then, we have Theta waves. These are even slower and are associated with deep relaxation and meditation, light sleep, and REM dream states. This is the realm of deep subconscious connection and profound insights. It's like being in a dreamy, intuitive state where time and space are of little relevance.
Finally, we have Delta waves. These are the slowest of all and are associated with deep, dreamless sleep and transcendental meditation where awareness is fully detached. Delta waves are the realm of your subconscious mind linked with deep healing and regeneration.
Understanding your brain waves can give you a deeper insight into your own mind and consciousness. One of the key themes in the method is that our thoughts and beliefs have a direct impact on our reality and that by changing our thought patterns, we can change our lives. By learning to tap into these different states, you can unlock new levels of understanding, creativity, relaxation, and healing.
The Silva Method primarily focuses on the alpha state, associated with relaxation, creativity, and intuition. The alpha state is the bridge to your infinite subconscious mind. Where you have control of creating your deepest desires.
The method involves a series of mental exercises and visualization techniques that help you consciously tap into your subconscious mind, thereby unlocking your full potential. These exercises include relaxation techniques, guided imagery, positive thinking, and meditation. The goal is to train the mind to reach the alpha state at will, enabling you to access your subconscious and use it to solve problems, learn new information, and improve overall mental performance.
Through the Silva method we learn how to relax through a state of self-hypnosis. You simply go through a series of phrases intended to relax your body and calm your mind. This practice puts your brain waves in an alpha state. Once you are there, we begin visualization. This is a powerful tool that Silva teaches that can help us achieve our goals. The idea is to create a mental image of what it is that you want to achieve, whether it's a new job, a healthier body, or a happier relationship. This is a dynamic meditation, and there are many things you can do while your mind is in this state. By visualizing these goals, you're sending a message to your subconscious mind that this is what you want. Your subconscious mind then will start working towards making it a reality.
Following that, you can recite or listen to a series of affirmations to continue to program your mind towards your goals and the thoughts you want to create into reality. These are positive statements that you repeat to yourself, either out loud or in your mind. The key here is to phrase these statements in the present tense, as if what you want has already happened. For example, instead of saying "I will be successful," you say "I am successful." This helps reinforce the belief in your mind that you are capable of achieving your goals. It is also important to note, that you must also incorporate feeling into your affirmations. For if you do not believe what you say, you are programming that into your subconscious. Some things that you can not physically see may be harder at first to believe, but the more you practice, the more natural it will feel to believe it as well. Belief is very important; reciting affirmations alone will not be enough.
The Silva Method is divided into different levels, each focusing on a specific area of personal development. The first level, known as the Silva Life System, focuses on stress reduction, intuition development, and improving memory and learning capabilities. The second level, the Silva Intuition System, focuses on enhancing intuition, creativity, and spiritual well-being.
There are countless stories of the methods effectiveness in personal growth, health and wellness, and academic and professional performance. However, its effectiveness largely depends on your commitment and consistency in practicing the techniques.
With these countless stories, there are countless sources that can teach you the Silva Method, where you can begin to live the life you want to live. Seminars are conducted around the world and online. YouTube is full of videos that teach the method. One of my favorite teachers on YouTube is Jose Silva’s daughter, Laura Silva-Quesada. And Mr. Silva has many books covering specific subjects geared toward all the different goals you may have.
